FAQ'S

Delaware County Pregnancy Center began in 1986 when several church members came together and  decided that by combining their efforts they could reach more women in need and offer them alternatives to abortion.  Today churches, businesses and other organizations work in conjunction with many, many individuals to actively support the ministry.

Our Center offers free pregnancy tests, limited ultrasounds, and peer counseling. We offer parenting education for women and men (together or separate). We offer material assistance such as maternity and baby supplies. In all cases, the truth is shared with compassion, in a loving, caring and non-judgmental atmosphere.

The “abortion issue” isn’t just about saving babies – it’s also about meeting the mothers at their greatest point of need and working through the issues that they are concerned with. At our Center, our greatest mission is to share the love of Christ and the Good News of the gospel with everyone who walks in our doors.

While we do not perform or refer for abortions, we provide women and men with complete, medically-accurate information about abortion. We believe it is everyone's right to have this information in order to make a fully informed decision.

Community Referrals

Part of peer counseling involves providing referrals for housing, prenatal care and other community resources. Sometimes an agency can “fill the gap” and provide our clients with some of the things that we cannot. We regularly attend meetings sponsored by local agency networks to keep current of new programs and offerings that might benefit our clients, such as food banks, emergency shelters and other social service organizations.

All of our services are free and confidential.
